About the event
The 809-hour basic course satisfies the requirement of OCGA 35-8-1 that a candidate complete the mandated course of instruction to be eligible for certification. Applications must be submitted to POST no later than 30 days prior to the course's start date.
Seating is limited to 15 students.
Prerequisites:
P-2 approval obtained for attendance from Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council required.
Completion of the Georgia POST Physical Agility Test.
