General Instructor Training Course

This course is designed for the public safety officer who instructs in performance oriented training and is responsible for delivering advanced training. Topics will include instructor liability, research methods, needs assessment, course and lesson plan design, student engagement activities, challenging learners, and measuring and evaluating learning.  The program meets the training criteria established by the Georgia POST Council for General Instructor / Level II Instructor certification.

Testing will be conducted at Savannah Technical College on May 22nd. Students will need to report to Savannah Tech on that day for testing.
